Hello! (sorry in advance for maybe bad english, i'm not native speaker :p)

I've been looking for bike for whole summer, sadly haven't got my current one sold so couldn't have bought one yet. Now I could change my bike to Buell XB12R Firebolt -04 and it would be quite cheap for me(slightly crashed and little things to be fixed). It's not quite what I've been looking for but after I tried it, gotta say I liked that bike :) However, I don't like it's looks so much so here comes my questions:

Can I swap the xb12scg(I think) rear body to XB12R Firebolt/how much I have to mod it/is it bolt-on. I would like to have more of athis kind of rear body over this which is the current rear body of the bike. Also, is
this rear body normal XB12scg rear but just raised? Also how pricey a xb12scg rear body would be about(couldn't find one in ebay, there's not much Buells in Finland)

Other question is about the front/mask/whatever it's called. I don't like it, I'd prefer full sportbikelook, that kind of half-mask is ugly imo :/ However, I like the XB12scg mask, so is mask like this easily fittable/bolt-on?

What other differences there are between xb12r and xb12scg?

How much the motor of this bike needs taking care of and what are the major things which should've been done/should be done for it? The bike is 2004 and it has traveled about 16000 miles afaik. Also what are the best ways to increase the power of the bike and for what cost/gain?

TLDR: I could get XB12r Firebolt for quite a cheap price, I don't like the looks of it so I'd like to change it more xb12scg-looking. How easy it is to fit xb12scg rear body and mask and what are other differences between bikes?

Welcome ogww!!
I think you do quite well at saying what you need to! I'm not the guy to answer your body swap questions, but someone on here will! As far as your engine and performance question....there are TONS of links on here about that!! Everybody has done SOMETHING it seems! The engines themselves seem to be fairly maintenence free...keep GOOD fresh oil in the engine and trans. An aftermarket exhaust from say Keda or Hawk, (SEE SIDEBAR TO THE RIGHT), a K&N filter, and an EBR ECM (for plug and play simplicity...or tune your own ecm), will give you the best return in your investment,in my opinion only! I hope all works out for you!! :)

I know for the swap it is easier to swap an r body to s, because everything is under the front fairing on a bolt. It isn't bolt on, but takes little modification.

As far as exhaust. If you're on a budget hawk, if not KEDA. Both awesome exhausts.
