Case sealer????

Can any silicone be used as a case sealer. Any thoughts would be appreciated. [confused]

It can.... But for how long is the question.... Go with the OE stuff. Was discussed here a few days ago... Or you may be tearing it back down sooner than you wish

OE type stuff would be best, although I have had good luck with high temp silicone from the auto parts store.

Many thanks guys. Liberty Harley has case sealer for $13 so I'll go with that now I live in Brooklyn it's kinda out of the way. Damn shifter shaft took me out for the summer. Completely down two weeks for parts [sad]
