Nice, also might want to take note that might have been before frame pucks were available. The bike is a 2003, and it was late '03 before they were available.
Wonder if his front fairing was only being held on by the 2 windscreen bolts, since the mirrors and blinkers are gone?
Not the prettiest bit of equipment.
From an engineering point of view however, it looks like he's spreading the load of a potential crash very well.
We have a very unique situation with the frame on the XB. We don't really have anything to conveniently weld to when mounting accessories or frame sliders.
