About the only thing still getting cold when I ride these days are my calves and ankles. Anyone have a favorite brand of winter socks that they recommend? It's been around 38 to 43 degrees when I leave to work lately.

This is gonna sound fruity , so here goes . I wear those ankle high "panty " hose things and wear my regular socks over them. Let the comments begin !!!!

I just get the biggest they have and in "nude" so they don't stand out if i'm in a crash. It's fruity but it works very well . Your feet WILL stay warm and SEXY ! [up]

Smart wool is the best winter socks I have found, they are just awesome.

why not just wear some long johns aka thermals there are a few different kinds & materials. some of the under-armor brand fit tighter than the old style thermals. or for just your feet and calves most outdoor/ hunting/ fishing stores & online store/catalog has warmer winter socks or waders socks made to keep your feet and lower legs warmer for hunting & duckhunting & fishing in cold cold water in waders.
