Tony, I have a Ninja 650 and a Firebolt. The Ninja is a bit more comfortable but I like the feel and control of the Firebolt's riding position. Comfort depends on the ergonomics of the bike (seat position, angle of knees, etc) but also the rider's height, weight, physical build, etc. I mostly use the Ninja as my daily ride back and forth to work. The Firebolt is my fun weekend ride, so I do have more saddle time with the Ninja. Well, I decided to retrofit the Ninja with HID lighting and the proper projector lenses. It turned out to be a big job and the bike was apart for almost two weeks. While I had the fairings off, I found a leak from the water pump housing, so right now it's at the dealer getting fixed under warranty. Anyway, I've been riding the Firebolt exclusively for a couple of weeks now. Here's the funny thing: it feels comfortable now. I used to get a neck ache if I rode it too long (what can I say, I'm middle age-ish) but not anymore. I did put the dropped pegs on it when I got it. My legs are long so they did help. I recently bought the raised handle bars from American Sport Bike, but I'm having second thoughts about putting them on now. The seating position of the Ninja 650 is quite a bit more upright than the Firebolt. It is a very different feel .... You might just need some time to get used to it. Get your Firebolt, spend time riding it and if you need to, you can get the dropped pegs, raise the handle bars and spring for a Corbin seat.
