Couple issues i need help with after a crash.

Ok, i will try the carb cleaner on Thursday. I found a pir of forks off a 07 xb12r. These forks shouldn't change the geometry but the tubes are a little wide if I remeber correctly. Will a 2007 triple clamp work or did they also change the steering tube size? Thanks for the everyone

ok, so now i am very lost. i tried the carb cleaner trick and i dont know if i am spraying in the wrong place or what but the engine just dies once i spray it. can someone please do a dummy right up of what i should be doing. i am good with my hands but i just need to know exactly to do with them and where. please please please help, i dont want and cant afford to take it to a dealer. thanks

you need to spray the carb cleaner where the intake manifold meets the jug on both the front and rear cylinder. you know where the exhaust bolts on to each cylinder? the intake bolts on to the opposite side of the exhaust on each cylinder (it's in the middle) you'll need to take off the plastic piece that prevents you from seeing into the V of the motor.

do not spray it into the intake, that wont prove anything.
