Where did you read that the belt is directional ? Can't find any mention of it in the manual.

EBR had told me this when I started. Then when I started looking at all the bikes they were set up the same way.

not counting paint/prep time: it took me 4 and a half hours, with a dinner break, and my 4 yr old son 'helping me'. i forgot the p-clamp on the bottom of teh swingarm, and didn't feel like taking the swingarm off, so i used a 3/16" to get an angle on the metric allen bolt
now my back hurts from all the ground work and i'm too tired to take it for a test ride.
and besides, i know what the result is gonna be. ... AWESOME!!!!!1!!!

oh well. it's not going anywhere. it can wait for me, like i've waited for it due to stator after stator, water pump, and front-end 'clunk'

Its about time nilla! It looks good though, let me know how it rides. We have 10" of snow on the ground so I wont be able to ride for a while!!! [mad]

Thanks puzz just wish I could ride the thing. Snow sucks, still looking at several inches on the ground here in MO. I'm ready for Spring!!

Same here in PA. The ice!

Waiting on parts so I'm unable to work on the 1250 Rotax. Daytona is something like 3 weeks away so I should prep a few bikes to go.

My brother will be down there with HD. Im jealous but sounds like fun! You need to make a thread over here on ur drag bike and motor build. I found it pretty interesting over on buelletinboard.

1st is kinda scarry now. 2nd and third will pick it up the front and ride it out. if i really tried i think i could pre-load the forks and bounce it up (moslty by tugging on the bars) in 4th, but for now i'm totally happy with 2nd and 3rd.

not sure how much is teh gearing and how much is teh
ECM ... dont really care. i love it.

[up]Good deal I cant wait to get mine out! Most of the snow melted Sunday when it was in the 60's but my driveway is still a mess. Hopefully soon!!

I finally got to ride today! I have to say CR gearing and a EBR ECM is really impressive. It pulls so hard from second all the way up to sixth gear. Like nilla said above 1st gear is going to be tricky, 2nd and 3rd gear wheelies are so easy and smooth now. Just grab a handle full of throttle and up comes the front wheel with no effort what so ever. I'm happy to say the least.:D

now i'll need to re-calibrate my shifting to better set-up for corner entry speeds and keep from bouncing it off the limiter. the slipper clutch/ECM tune is masking my poor downshifts, and i find my self at teh limiter more often now than evar before.
its like i gotta get used to teh bike all over agian. ... prolly cuz i wasn't quite 'one' with it yet after only 7k mi.
i was thinking about getting a shift light, but i'll give my self some more time in the saddle before i start throwing even more money at the habbit.

Gidday guys
I changed my 2010 1125r gearing to cr gearing .All i needed to change was the rear drive sprocket and drive belt, both cr parts.I am new on here and will put up some pics of my bike decked out in carbon fibre parts soon
