I disliked the stock club-man bars and swapped to the high bars soon after I got mt CR. I have always wished that there was a bar between the club-man and the high bar... Then I read a post about a XB guy flipping the club-mans over and I decided to give it a try:

It feels great sitting on it in the garage but I haven't rode it yet. Will give her a test run in the AM in the twists!

Did a ride today with some buddies and LOVE the new bar set up! Still high enough to be comfortable but further forward in a better riding position!

No, just filed the nubs down... Left enough to make sure it clamped nice and tight and doesn't spin.

Yes, the lines and cables are all from the high bar kit. The grips are just Renthal sport bike grips.

I flipped my clubmans also. I kept the stock lines and it worked just fine but I kept mine lower than xtreme6669 did.

I wish I would have thought about that option sooner.. Although I still think I would have wanted the bars rolled up more than you have them so I would have needed the longer cables/lines

How do you like the angle of the bars with them rolled down that far? When I first put mine on I moved them up and down before putting any of the controls on but the angle felt really odd with them down that far.

It almost looks like you have the front most corner of the bar in the same place as stock but the "clip on" section of the bar is tilted upward instead of down.

I like that angle a lot . Very comfortable compared to before. I like them forward but what I didn't like was the extreme downward angle they had stock. So flipping them and keeping them down worked out great for me. Didn't cost a dime, my hand doesn't fall asleep so easily now and just a better overall feel around town. I haven't ridden any curves yet, I know it will take some getting used to.
