wow dude..sorry to hear, sounds like you got hurt alot worse than your bike. It will be more expensive to fix you thats for sure. Hospitals are crazy expensive nowadays. glad you made it through though. 14 years ago same damn thing happened to me, I broke my right leg in 5 places, lucky I can walk again, a year pf physical therapy and the dedication of some incredible therapist and I can walk again. I thank god for them and my life. I am sure you do as well.

if I can help an any way I will...I am sure we all will. :)

peace

Hi all,

Just wanted to update folks on how things are going. My broken ribs are healing well, I'm finally feeling better this week. I'm up and around started driving but still in no shape to work on my bike. I had another close look at the bike and there some extensive damage to the wiring harness and a number of the connectors. I've already purchased a new fairing stay, headlight assembly and seat (it was also damaged). My instrument panel is also gone as well as the ecu.

i hoping that i can get some advice on the wiring harness...how hard is it to replace the whole thing? what other harnesses work with my bike?

thanks guys...hope to be back riding soon.

One time I saw a whole harness for sale on ebay out of some wreck for like 50 bucks.. ecm's are out there also. Just chill and take your time finding that stuff and its not going to cost you all that much. Especially if you do it little by little as you are recovering.

Glad you are happy through it bro! You heal faster if you smile, I've found.

This is the time I would be asking myself, "How much do I really need a front fairing?"
