LIKE! [up] White really looks good on these bikes! But you have some holes in your axles that need to be filled! We can help with that (and other goodies)! ;)

...sorry for the shameless plug! Carry on! [cool]

50dro, yep, I need some sliders! That's on the list for sure.

Allday, I picked up the turn signals from dmp. I had to crimp on larger male plug ends to fit the female ones on the bike's harness. I also had to drill the holes slightly larger to accommodate the signals' thread stock.

As for the comments about the EBR stuff. I'm not supporting Austria and I'm not even sure where that is coming from. What, is Erik getting his funding from an Austrian company? To my knowledge, EBR is an American company building American made motorcycles. I put those on there in support of Erik Buell who is an American last time I checked and who is the brains behind these bikes and the EBRs. He got shafted for years and treated like crap by Harley Davidson. I'm glad Erik Buell is out of that mess regardless of where his investors come from. Yes, my bike is a BUELL named after Erik BUELL. EBR still supports these bikes and sells parts for them. Even the new EBR bikes continue a lot of the concepts which originated with the XB line. Frames even look similar. So, for now the decals stay because I'm glad the man behind them has another unhindered chance at making a race-winning, top of the heap American motorcycle. Hey, Chryslers are American vehicles, but they're mostly owned by Fiat, an Italian company. The factories employ Americans.

Enough of that nonsense.

allday, I purchased the plastics from Lakeshore HD at LSHD1.com

Thanks again for the feedback and comments! I think it turned out pretty nice for a weekend's worth of work.

By the way, Mother's Back to Black worked great on the black plastic parts. Took them from faded to new in about 5 minutes.

Hey, by the way, the EBR bikes and the 1125's may use Austrian power plants, but they're still American bikes. Have you ever noticed where our wheels are made? Yep, in big letters: CHINA. How about our suspension? Even Harleys use components sourced from around the world. Just sayin! ;)

Thanks, post some pics when you get the new plastics installed. You went with black correct? I'm still waiting on one side of my chin fairing because it was back ordered. Other than that, it only took about 15 days to get the rest of the parts which was better than the 21 days originally quoted.

Will do, and yes I went with black. I did not order a chin fairing though, it was crazy expensive, so I am on the hunt for one...

BTW I'm digging the EBR logos, very cool.

Updated pics. All done for now. Added sliders, some subtle decals, and billet levers.

Great looking bike OP!

Are those decals from the EBR store? I purchased my buell without decals and would like to copy yours :D [up]

Yep, the EBR store. They come in white or black. The tank decals were about 6 bucks and the 1203 decals came from a link in a thread posted on here somewhere.

Thanks guys! I ride it every day as long as it isn't raining. It's my daily driver and was never meant to be a looker, but it turned out better than I intended! :D

My brother is now part of the Buell family. He just picked up a XB12XT! Found it neglected in someone's garage, saved it, and got it back on the road.

Lookin good. Imo, apart from black, white is the only other color that looks good with amber.

Very nice looking 12. I'm wanting to incorporate some EBR stuff into my 9r when I get her. Forget the haters man. Do what you wanna do. You did kinda buy the bike.
