Dead battery issue???

So the other day my bike was giving me problems...started losing power than shut down at a stop light. When I tried to start it it clicked like I had a dead battery and wouldn't turn over. The next day it ran perfect. Thought everything was fin until today. It started hesitating while in motion at low rpms...cluster lost power...CEL came on and bike shut down. Fan didn't run when bike died out and battery acted dead...I had no power. Bike sat in my garage for over an hour and batter recharged itself enough to start. Anyone else have this issue?

Clock zeroed out?

No power so battery or bad connections.

Battery needs some long runs to charge, especially as it gets older.

If you've had several long runs lately, then it could be charging system.

Load test: should be 200cca.

Sounds more like battery.

Yeah sounds battery related...must not be maintaining...seems weird it shuts off mid run. Haven't been able to take a long run because the battery is dying and bike is shutting off...I think.

had similar issue with a junk (non harley) battery before. swithed back to harley battery(deka) and all was well. and the battery im speaking of was new. less than month old.
