Original posts are here, I think you have to register to view pics there though. Bike only started with 77 hp, yes it's an xb12. Not sure why it's as low as it is, but managed to put out an 8% gain. The headers are stock size for a 12, so there's no real expectation of a performance gain with them.

Made some changes last week. Partially upgraded the front brake with a used ZTL2 caliper, need to swap out the line and possibly the master cylinder later. Changed to translucent orange plastics. Had to put a stock exhaust on it for now since I want to ride it and don't have time to build myself another one at the moment with all the orders. More later.

Hey there Dean, I know for a fact that bikes get super jelly if one is being ridden and the other one is left all alone:(. I'm sure that yellow one doesn't get out much... Cause look at it just sitting there in the back of the picture. I'd be willing to take it out with you when you go on some rides though. I know it would take time out of my day but that's what buellers are for.......we like to help.[smirk]

Actually, the yellow one has about 1100 more miles on it, the xb9 has made it all of 1 mile so far this year. I was riding my 1125 more than anything until I sold it last weekend. That will change soon enough, waiting on new brake lines for it that I ordered last night. Trying to teach my son about some maintenance things while he still listens to me, this is one of them.

I'm sure it gets ridden whenever you have the chance, your obviously a busy guy. I admire your exhaust work and taking the time to teach your son.

Likewise.........can't wait for my XB1 Exhaust. He did send a teaser pick although [up] and it's in progress..........YAHOO!

Not yet, I believe he was on vacation last week. Everyone needs a break every once in a while right! I got some patience, he does great work and great work takes time ya know. Good for you for supporting Dean and buying his exhaust. His work is great

I talked to Dean earlier this week and he's about 3-4 weeks out on exhausts - not bad at all for a good quality product.

I guess I'm a walking talking sales rep for Dean now. I bought his 1125R and it has one of his custom exhausts on it. Dean, This bike is simply bad ass. The sound is great, the power is fantastic. Put almost 400 miles on it today.
:):):)

Ad me to the list GENTS and Happy Father's Day to me. ..........my teaser pic from Dean..........it's almost done with a sweet # to boot.......TRIPLE DUECE.....XB1 Exhaust and MADE IN THE USA!!
