I'm sure many otherd have asked this but where does the name keda come from.. the exhausts are stamped dean Adams designs. But where is keda from..

I had a machinist guy making parts for me, seemed like the thing to do at the time to include his initials as part of it. So, it was ke (ken edmunson) and da (dean adams) designs, thus, keda-designs. I guess it took maybe 5-6 months and he was done making the parts and didn't want to make any more. I had other ideas and the exhaust stuff just kinda took off, especially after the shootout in 2010. I could have subbed out the spools and tail tidy to another machine shop, but didn't really feel like persuing it. I've got my hands pretty full now as it is.

I had a bunch of tags made up back then, maybe 50 at a time. I don't remember when I switched it over to just my name, but it was within the last year I guess, so if it's got just my name on it, it's a newer or more recent pipe.

So, like any other manufacturer, I'm always wondering "How long is this going to last?". So, I took mine apart again, 14 months after I'd repacked it and built my full system.

I'm happy to report that after 14-15k miles and who knows how many trips to redline I've made, along with several trips to the dyno that it's apparently still the same amount that I'd put in back in early May of 2012.

Nice!

My current dream, Dean headers and 1190 kit! Man that would be a beast!

Dang that would look nice coming out of my new belly pan... Might start putting more into the piggy-bank

Shawns, yes, that's the serial number. I'm at 184 now, so it's about 3 years old. Anything earlier than yours puts it in early 2010, pre-exhaust shootout. The only thing I build that doesn't get serial numbers is headers, I haven't figured out a good spot to put a tag yet, so none of them have gotten it.

Posting pics can be done either by uploading them here to buellxb directly in your photos section or host them elsewhere (like google+) and then use the image tag like you tried to do.

I know who that was built for, it was rode pretty hard and put up wet on just about every ride. Those are 1/8" rivets, if you want to change them out. That's the only one ever tagged like that, you have a New Jersey bike.

Didn't meet the guy, was sold to a guy in PA, then to me. I know it was at least used for track days. Any other info you have on the bike would be great. I guess it a good thing I am going to do a valve check this winter. This is what the bike looked like ....

Powder coated rear swing arm, brackets and wheels. Hero Blue edition plastics.

Stator recall was done on it at least once or twice. I don't remember everything he said was done to it, definitely slid through the grass at NJMP a time or two. I sent stickers for it a couple of times I think.

I like the hero blue/white combo. If they'd have offered that color in 2008, that's what I'd probably have gotten.
