....Because last night I bought quite possible the cleanest and nicest 2010 Buell XB12R in existence :D. I thought there was going to be no way that I could purchase this bike, the planets must have aligned last night or something though, because I was able to pickup my dream bike without having to sell the M2 Cyclone first, and before the Firebolt was sold.

It has 523 miles on it right now. Here are a couple pictures from the trip home late last night, sorry for the quality, the iPhone seems to have trouble in low lighting, especially since the bike is black! Of course it had to rain nearly the entire way home, so I'll need to clean-up the bike good after work, and hopefully get some pictures today or tomorrow of her in some good lighting.

All I can say is, I am smiling ear to ear :D. The only thing bringing me down right now is the weather! I'll still be as happy as can be even if I can't truly enjoy the bike until next season. Just admiring it in the garage all winter will be enough for me!

WOW nice color blue/black!

Yes, I love it! :D The Midnight Black / Hero Blue Translucent wheels is the sexiest color combo out there for these bikes in my opinion. Needless to say, I am the happiest guy alive right now. I not only have the bike of my dreams, but I have a wife that actually allowed me to go buy it!

I did pay a premium for the bike, much more than I could image on a used bike, but this bike is worth it and then some. No regrets here. Does this count for the "Who bought their buell brand new?" thread? Hahaha!

I remember when I bought mine my wife told me I had to sell my suzuki first before buying a new bike. I found a killer deal on craigslist and she let me go ahead and she was just as excited about the bike as i was once getting it home. That was a fun trip, probably was staring in the rear view mirror as much as looking forward :)

i can tell you are in love, you have a **** ton of ratchet straps on that thing!

You know it. Everyone tells me the Canyon-Dancer is enough. However, that leaves a single point of failure (One side breaks it'll just fall the other way). So I make sure to have it secured so that if one (or maybe even two) break, I'll at least have time to pull over to fix before the bike is laying in the middle of 80/90 in pieces!

I agree with you 100%! I'd rather spend 10 extra minutes tying it down and know it won't ever fall over. Especially say if you have to swerve due to someone cutting you off or something like that.

I have always wondered why trailer when you can ride
[smirk] life is an adventure so get on and ride before the ticket is void.

:pyes I have been known to put all my rain gear and drive right into a storm...
hey that the fastest way though,,,,,:D but that's just me... nice bike wish you the best with your new ride

Sometimes it's just not practical to ride. We haul the bike in the back of the truck up to TN and AR, I don't think me and the wife and 3 dogs would git on the bike! lol
