Bad news: My job scheduled me for this week and I wont be able to make the trip unless a miracle happens. they scheduled me for conferences in Chicago all that week. I called the Gap and cancelled my hotel room yesterday and gave it to a fellow bueller on here. I hope you guys enjoy the ride and hopefully I can make it next year, or possibly swing down for a night or two.

ONLY 3 WEEKS!!! I am really looking forward to this years Dragon event! More of you tune in here than on the Dragon V FB page, so tune in a little more often as we are starting to button up days/times for events and such. We are split up between a few resorts so I want every one to know what is going on as most of it will be at DGMR. I am hoping to have a "loose" itenerary the week before, as you know mother nature can throw a large wrench in everything.

ok, I'd really like to attend this event. I NEED to get out there before I leave the area later this year. So what's the deal with that hotel, do they still have vacancy for Friday and Saturday night? If not I'll just bring the truck bed tent and "rough it". Sorry I'm a little late to this party but it would be awesome to get together with other buellers!

Last I heard Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort was booked up, but they do have camping. There are also a couple other places to stay within a reasonable distance. A few that had rooms reserved have had to back out and passed their rooms on to fellow Buellers, and some may have a spare bed in their room you can rent. Bottom line--show up and I doubt you will get turned away, but try to arrange something ahead of time.

Well when i was pulled over in the Nantahala natational forest, the park ranger that gave me the ticket said that since i was from a different state that the points usually dont carry over to your licence as long as you pay the ticket. but he also said thats not legal advice and dont hold him to that... but i havnt noticed my insurance go up so i guess it didnt transfer. I think the ticket was $150 ish? for passing illegally



Oh and MAKE SURE you have with you at all times:
1. License with endorsement or proof that you have one
2. Proof of insurance
3. Registration

it dosnt matter if your state dosnt require you to carry it with you. Bring them.


oh and also if you have your license plate in an odd spot (ex. sideways on a swingarm, or tucked really far back under your tail, or at an odd angle), be prepared to be given a hard time
