I've decided to leave late tonight . My original plan was to leave thursday morning but after checking weather forecast I changed my mind . Looks like a good chance of rain saturday so I wanna get there early thursday so I can get some ride time in . Google says 11hrs so I'm planning on getting in around 9-10 thursday morning . Can't wait

Let's hope your phone is wrong because that is simply not acceptable!! Accuweather shows a chance of thunderstorms Saturday. I know my Lightning will be there!! (I know...weak! LOL)

very true. I lived out that way (boone) for a couple years and can't wait to revisit. the area is actually considered a temperate rainforest in the spring/summer months. mountains pretty much make their own weather

Yeah I was talking to one of my customers today and he's from NC and said the same thing . He also said that that area produces more rain than the whole state of NC . He also mentioned it's usually afternoon showers . I'll be there regardless , about to leave shortly . Bike and tools are loaded double checking that I have everything and I'll be heading out . Can't wait .
