Sorry to put this off as long as I have but I've been very busy and haven't been around much here on the forum. For those of you that will be coming for the first time I will refer you the last years thread and you will find the answers to your specific questions answered there. If not.....ask away!
Dragon VI Thread
Everything is weather dependent of course:

Thursday- Leave DGMR 4 pm and ride to the Backporch Restaurant via the Foothills Parkway to Townsen for the annual (safe to say that now), dinner ride. Then back to DGMR for the welcoming bonfire/ drinking event.

Friday- Myself and anyone else that wants to lead a group of usually 10 bikes (give or take) head out No later than 10 depending on the many routes to choose from. I would like to take the Smokie Mountain National Park loop this year arriving back at DGMR before dark depending on your route. 5-6 pm is average. Bonfire & more drinking.

Saturday- Our busy Day!!!
For me the Cherry Cola to Tellico Plains as long as it isn't too cold in the am then ride the Dragon back to DGMR 3-4ish. The Raffle WILL be Saturday evening around (hopefully before) sunset. Some really cool stuff to benefit a good cause. I will try to be more organized this year......I hope [smirk][smirk]
This is the night that produces all the stories of years past and when we set next year's dates for the event. And lets not forget that one visitor that just happens to stop by. We have had some good ones over the years. lol

Sunday- Most of us head out in the am but those that live close stay as long as they can.

General stuff:
There will be a time in there that we will want to get a group picture. I thought last years worked out really well as most everyone was there for the raffle. And it helped pass the time while giving everyone time to buy their tickets.
I will have a crockpot of my pulled venison BBQ on one night. Working on something for the other night as well. I will have my hot dog sticks at the firepit as long as I can find them. [confused]
Anything else just ask and someone will chime in with the info you need

My only question is will a 4.0 Ranger pull a 6x12 open trailer safely from PA with 2 Buells on it!?!?!? :p:p:p

OK...And will it warm up enough in PA for me to put a few miles on my bike before then? haha

Can't wait! Thanks for all the hard work you put into this! 5-0dro is stepping up our part of the giveaway this year...Stay tuned! :D

Planning on rolling in late on Friday and staying until Sunday. Looking forward to finally meeting some of you on here

If you were there last year I did a Italian beef night and will be doing the same. I will talk with Ray to find out what would be the best night. Be well

It was brought to my attention I screwed up the title of the thread.........It should be Dragon VII not Dragon VIII. Can a mod edit it for me......please:)

They do financing, I secured my own though. Ride is leaps and bounds above an xb. Smooth, almost goes where you want before you know you want to go there. I haven't even set the suspension for my weight yet, I really ought to do so soon.

I plan to do a back to back ride from the 1125 to the 1190 soon, but I already know the 1190 is a fair bit better all around. I had the suspension set for track use on the 1125 so it's fairly stiff but well sorted. The 1190 just feels better everywhere so far. I had thought the seat would be a pita but it's actually not bad for as thin as it is. Longest ride so far was only 50 miles or so, but it was relatively comfy. No wrist ache like what I always got on the 1125 after 30 minutes.
