right? reading up on it...

The most high tech, most powerful twin-cylinder production engine on the planet is now an integral part of an innovative monocoque chassis that combine to deliver 195hp from 164kg (361.5lb). The highest production motorcycle power-to-weight and torque-to-weight ratios in the world are fitting trophies for the incredible results that Ducati have achieved. Bred for the track and trained for the road, the new 1199 Panigale is a true revolution of the species destined to influence the entire sportsbike environment.

yada, yada, yada...sore losers!

The only thing that reminds me of the 1190 is the mirrors. I love single sided swing arms.

The single sided-swing arms are so cool.

Now they are going with the low-exhaust too, instead of under-tail?

I know a few die hard duc fans that are already turned off by the under slung can, even thou they admit its a good move, just not what they are used to.
I really like the led headlights, makes the front small enough to really look like it means business.

I'm on the fence with the single side arm still.
I know a few makes are using them now, but still just doesn't look right.

I wish the Buell would just dump the exhaust to the ground instead of having that ugly pipe coming back up

Couldn't agree more. That coolest thing about Buell is the under slung exhaust i think. The ugly pipe coming up just looks bad and takes away a cool "unique" factor of the Buell.

I guess now that Ducati is using it, it wouldn't be as unique anyway..

under slung pipe[up] it would eliminate the ugly pipe and bracket, would definitely clean up the rear end

Yeah i hate how we lost our underslung exhaust :(.

I love the look of the new duc but its alittle to aggressive for a duc, what happened to the Italian lines. I really dont like looking at the front head on though. The angles and lights dont do it for me.

I want to mention how much i love the rear tire. That thing is sexy!

Hey i just finished the online informative app. that Ducati asks our dealership to take before taking orders, i am genuinely excited to see this bike. To tell the truth, I'm a little uneasy about the electronic suspension on the S model(the electronic suspension is kind of a pain on the pikes peak 'strada). I can't believe they are offering a super oversquare motor for production. (it has a stroke of 6o.8 MM with a bore Of 112MM) in example, Dirt bikes have that kind of stroke/ bore, and recent models have you rebuild (to the Rings) on a 2012 kx450 every 15 hours(62.1mm X 96.0).

I think it's Pretty awesome.

You guys do realize that the exhaust is *still* underslung. It just has an extra noise reduction piece attached to it. 5 minutes and it's off the bike leaving the underslung exhaust.

This is all EBR needed to do for the road going models. The exhaust cover looks all boxy on the road version too, needs to be smoother and rounder like this one in my opinion.
