It looks like Lynchburg is going to dodge the bullet, just wind and light rain forcasted here. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you that will be impacted by this storm. If there is anything I can do just say the word.

^^Yeah I dont wish this on anyone by no means. If anyone needs help our website is www.epicresponse.com.

The latest projected path has it hitting jersey and heading in towards Wilmington de, which is 20 miles from me. Everything is tied down and the Buell is in the basement. I'm "essential personnel " in my job for the railroad so I'll be going to work tomorrow and hoping for the best.

Yes prayers for all those in the path of Sandy and all her fury. A special "HOLD ON TIGHT" to my friend John lunaticfringe. My prayers are going up.

Yea, my brother is in New Haven and he said they were expecting 2ft of snow with it. I told him I'd send my snowboard if he thought it'd get there in time.

But in all seriousness, be safe out there guys.

It has been raining all day and light wind, now it is is getting more windy and the rain is starting to come down a little harder. I grew up in Fl and lived through a couple Hurricanes. To all the people to the east of me and closer to where the eye is going to make landfall, good luck and stay safe.

We just deployed 20 personnel to Maryland. Im headed down to New Orleans to wrap up a job from Isaac then probably headed up to where the new ground zero is. Stay safe everyone.

the Buell is in the basement.

Hopefully it doesnt flood, because we see alot of basements flooding in this line of work. Depends on what type of "basement" also.

Very windy and raining in va. Not so much to worry about where I am it seems like. Work asked me to stay home today since I only have the buell. Hopefully I will get to work tomorrow.

I'm up here in MA now working with FEMA and the Corps of Engineers. We'll be getting hot and heavy tomorrow to help restore power to critical facilities first (public services and shelters, etc) and the secondary facilities. We (249th EN BN - active army electrical power guys) have people all over (currently MA and NJ - with more troops on the way) working to get buildings assessed for backup generation. Please hang tight!
