Hey everyone,

Could someone help me? I'm loosing my mind and patience. I'm getting to the point where I can't retain information anymore. I get the following message when I try to open up ECMSpy:

Failed to load FTD2XX.DLL. Are the FTDI drivers installed?

I have looked at all the installation guide on the ECMSpy website, downloaded all the files and opened them. I can't pull this from our search either. Any help will save my marriage.

Now the Com on the bike won't work with either the bluetooth communicator nor the USB wire. The Com3 is opened on the software according to the messages. It just says:

ERROR: Failed to fetch ecm type: Cable Problem (RX/TX Shorted?)

It say that with either both of the communication types. Also, my phone won't pick up the bluetooth signal when it is plugged in.

Could there be com issue with the bike?

could anyone help me out with ecmspy. I went to the site downloaded everything I was supposed to and ordered a cable from someone and now ecmspy is gone its no where to be found on my computer. it wont let me re-download it, it just says I might not have permission to acces this file. does anyone know of another site to get it or could someone help with what I have or am I just screwed.i have no problem buying the program but I don't want to purchase it when I cant even bring the demo to work, I would hate to buy it and not be able to use it.
any help I can get is appreciated.

it wont let me re-download it, it just says I might not have permission to acces this file

the ecmspy guys tell me, your download works perfectly well. wouldn't it have been a logical conclusion to ask them first?
