typically they throw alot of codes that keep activating the CEL....very erratic idle and virtually unrideable. and in many instances there's cosmetic signs on the ecm itself such as minute cracks and/or arcing at the plug portion.
if you're saying you have to firebolts and key to on position does nothing i've personally never seen an ecm do that but anything possible. i suggest checking your batteries, cable connections at both ends, relays and fuses prior to doing anything else. do the easy things first.
That's good news as id rather not spring for two of those...
Fuses are good but one of them kept blowing key switch relays - about one a month. So they are fresh from Harley.
