engine cuts out on an extended wheelie

have a 04 xb12r, rebuilt it from a salvage 1 year ago,runs great, perfect for trackdays,fun wheelie bike. until lately it would wheelie as long as you want, but now after it's up for only 5 seconds or so the engine cuts out(like it's running out of fuel)as soon as the front wheel is back on the ground it runs flawlessly.has this happened to anyone else?

that is strange since the fuel pump is in the back of the frame. I know a lot of il4s are not supposed to wheelie too long because it starves them of oil but these bikes are dry sump so they do not get starved of oil like they do.

Bank Angle Sensor? If you have ECM spy disable the tip sensor and see if it still happens. I have never heard of this happening but worth a look.

disable your tip sensor, same thing was happeni9ng to me.
