Eric Buell Racing offers them for $250.00. I just installed one on my 09 XB12 and man what a difference! The flat spot just off of idle is gone along with the decel pops. Power is in your face and runs fantastic. If you get one be sure to do the TPS and IAC reset as posted by Rainman64. This was an easy plug and play. I have not messed with or have any experience with remapping and really do not see the need to after installing the EBR unit. Hope this helps. Crewdog

ok thanks, the only thing is im gonna have to take it somewhere to reset the tps. thats why getting the cable to remap my stock one seems better because i can reset the tps with that, but using the remap seems like it could get complicated

Thinking of picking up an EBR race ECM. Is it basically a standard ecm with a different map, or is there something different about it? Can it still be tuned with ecm spy?

from my understanding you have to buy the tuning kit from EBR in order to tune the EBR ecm and you have to buy the more expensive ecm in order to tune. From what I have seen on this forum and bad web, there is no need to tune, it comes ready to rock from EBR.

I also saw that EBR will re-flash it if you upgrade exhaust later. I have the race air cleaner now, and plan on upgrading the exhaust over the winter, but have the typcial decel popping and have heard it really smooths things out.
