not sure, i'll have to check tonight. it doesnt fit exactly, it took some fine homebrewed engineering to get it to seat right, along with a rubber "boot" i found.
Inquiring minds need to know >.>
I want something like the fast but I would like to find a cone type filter that will fit, did you totally do away with the rubber velocity stack boot or find something to go around it?
i recently bought this on ebay here is aus... a guy made them many years back for xb performance. some dude was selling it after buying his bike second hand.
aluminium venturi with direct filter. a mate still runs this set up today and likes the performance gained..
At the beginning of this thread LEFOX u said the key is the velocity stack? Are you saying a taller one is the key? The FAST kit is just the heat shield and filters with the main filter pushing into the stock velocity stack?
SlickRidin Yes it will have to be around the same length as the fast to be correctly tuned.
Extreme I did a search under google for "velocity stack filter". Now I am just trying to find something modifiable or adaptable to the Buells throttle body.
That my friend is the ultimate question! If we can find that out someone can make them for sure. It would even be cooler if someone who had on took a bunch of snapshots all around insides and out and of course how it mounts. I'm sure some rep points would flow!
