I did just over 350 on my Firebolt maybe 3 or 4 months after I got it. It really sucked! I would do it again now only because I have a Vista Cruise throttle lock. Legs and butt were fine, hands were what killed me. I had the stock grips then too.

Did about 420mi from Indianapolis, IN to Pittsburgh, PA in 10 hours of riding including all stops in a day. Wasn't quite enjoyable because it was cold and windy all day. I was returning from the Indianapolis MotoGP race.

I've mostly done short trips 200 to and from kinda stuff I cant imagine doing longer trips on the lightning without an extended windscreen I would feel like a bobble head

420 Miles on my '04 XB12R. My the time I made it to my destination I wanted to jump in front of a dump truck. My everything hurt.

But we were also doing really technical riding up the Devil's Highway. (1000 turns in 120 miles roughly).

I was dreading riding back to Phoenix from San Diego so much I contemplated renting a truck and trailer for a minute. Then I said **** it, man up and ride! It was not as bad going back if memory serves.

Alfa, be careful with that throttle lock.
I had one for the trip from NM to MA. With the throttle locked I nodded out for a few miles going across Texas to OKC. I would not recommend doing that on a winding highway.
Must have been a heck of a power nap because I made it another 70 miles after I woke up.
You could say I "let go and let God."[smirk]

Really? Wow, I would hope I wouldn't snooze but you never know. I also listen to music now when I ride anything over 30 or 40 miles so I could see getting zoned out. Thankfully the SD to PHX run is mostly boring and straight.

Alfa - Let me know when you plan on heading out this way.

When you make it to Phoenix we can go hang out at Joann Fabric and knit each other socks and crap.

I'm in Minneapolis. I've riden to Chicago, and sturgis. Wasent the ideal bike but I'll do it again. I can tell ya it's not like a jap. rocket. 2hrs on 1 Of those and I'm done. Just got new bars and added a 1 inch riser, should be a little better this year.

I just reorginized my "Craft Room" at my house. I now have a whole wall dedicated to knitting, another dedicated to putting puzzles together (1,000 peice or more obviously) and one wall dedicated to scrapbooking.

I rode from Toledo OH to Cincinnati to say hi to my Dad and then rode home. Round trip a little over 400miles.

900 miles rnd trip on my 02 shadow! But I'm gonna do the same trip on my xb9r in a month or so. Heading to MT from Seattle.
