Favorite Bike on this forum

I think some points should be taken into account when choosing a "best bike". Budget, know how, expertise and facilities are just a few. Keppis is my favourite but has had a lot of time, money and specialist work done on it, which is of course needed to make a showwinner. However I think a clean, sorted and well looked after bike is to some as good as any custom bike.
Heres some updated pics of mine.

york nice bike I am not sure witch is your most recent ones but i think it looks better with the black seat than the blue one.

The ones with the red wheels and black powdercoated seat rails are the most recent. The original amber wheels were ready for redoing and it took me ages to decide to change colour.

Yorkshirelad, I agree but all in all Keppi's bike is amazing and if you are willing to put that amount of time, thought, and money onto something, IMO it doesn't really matter if you did every bit of work or not.

Many think I have dropped thousands and thousands into my bike but in tge reality of it I still have less into my bike than what a new Bolt would cost;)

Agreed xtreme,I was just saying ANY bike can look great to someone. I wasnt suggesting keppi did do all the work just saying that most people cant.
I have very little money in my bike too, I buy used parts or improvise. The change of colour on the wheels cost just £85 and in my opinion transforms the look of the bike for relatively little money.

I've seen forums, that have a way to tally votes. Might I humbly suggest someone get on that shit. I would also humbly suggest a yearly grand prize, including but not limited to a "three pack" of the winners choice of condoms, and a six pack of beer. Im gonna go watch porn now.

I think the point of this thread was simply to chose your favorite bike period. No considerations regarding time, money or resources available to the builder, just the finished product (if they are ever finished.LOL). Dont forget the more custom you get the more it becomes suited to YOUR taste, and sometimes it gets to the point where you might lose others interest. For instance on my bike I know Xtremelow feels that the steering damper subtracts to the look of my bike, and I personally think that Keppis bike would look better with a regular seat and side rails. Totally agree with you regarding a clean and sorted bike though.

I think their all great bikes. Their all Buells arent they? I love how no two bikes on here look the same. Some my spend thousands of dollars and many hours and others my keep it simple and clean but thats what make our bikes so sweet. My vote is my own because its my bike and it looks the way I want it too.[up]
