Well after 14 years of dreaming Buell, I purchased my Ulysses. Such a awesome bike and corners soooo good. I have it set up for road use only so i cant comment on its off road use, but on the road it rocks.. Love at first sight. And much much more love after i took it out for its first ride..

Us short people can't appreciate them, but you tall people are lucky you can enjoy those.
Congrats and welcome to the forum.

Its really not that tall. Im only 158cm and have no problems at all.. i believe its height is perfect, not to tall, not to short. Very nice midway sized machine..

29” inseam. 5’5” tall
I have to tilt my Buell to the side to flat foot it with only 1 foot or be on my toes with both feet
The height of the ulysses seat is even taller

Lol

Im good with my buell. The lightning rear conversion helped me out a bunch

29" inch inseam @ 5'9" and though I can't flat foot it, I have no problems on the ully or the SS.
Lusiphur, the only thing I can figure is that you must be experiencing more weight, due to being 5'5". I have this problem with my Triumph Explorer, it is very top heavy compared to the ully but it also weighs about 80-90 pounds more mostly due to the driveshaft.

Well, I know when I have to wrestle with my Triumph, I have to be extra careful because if I take my eyes off the front for a second, timber there she goes again ! Yes, 4" taller makes a big difference when it comes to something being top heavy, leverage !
