my '03 lightning did, but this is the first Firebolt I have seen of that generation in that color. Normally I see blue, yellow, or rarely white, but this one does also have the proper tank decals for the year so I would venture its just a rare color to come by.

Thanks for the welcome. The bike is an 03 with 23 000 km . The previous owner didn't like the battle blue, so got it done in black. Yes it is in near mint condition.
