First ride of the season and I picked up a nail

So my buddies and I went out for the first ride of the season and wouldn't you know I picked up a nail in my rear tire. I have never had a nail in any of my bikes tires before. I went to work and got a plug kit and plugged it. I smeared rubber cement on it also before jamming in the plug, then I cut it flush. I'm not horribly concerned about safety ad the plug is below the main tread but I guess i will be ordering tires soon [down]

They are the Dunlop d616s. I'm not a huge fan of them but they have like 1k miles on them.

So i ended up buying a set of mich. pilot power ct2s. $255 Luckily i had a guy just buy some used goalie pads off me for $250 So it all worked out.

Damn little bastard nails! I got a nail in my new metzeler m3`s about two Weeks after I bought them. Been riding with a plug for about 7 months now no problem
