Finally got a Buell again 05 Lightning. I had a 99X1 few years ago regretting selling but back in the game. Im about 25 miles south of Bragg. Would like to get together with some fellow Buell riders.

I'm in Wilmington NC. just about an hour south of you guys. I know a few people with Buell's down here, we should meet up sometime. Wilmington to j-ville is a pretty good ride down 17.

I'm in the Apex area and I'm always riding. If anyone in the south Raleigh area is up for riding I'm always down. I have no riding friends so I'm usually just out riding around by myself. Would be nice to have some fellow Buelligans to cruise around with. I just got my Buell in Aug and have already put just about 5000 miles on it. I've rode in anything from 34 degree on up and rain or shine. So I'll just say I'm always down for riding.

Vance Im over in Broadway/Sanford area.. Its like a 35min ride for me to get there... Just had a weird realization [smirk] Ive never been to raleigh on the bike and its the nicest city around my area lol... hmmm

I actually bought my Buell from a guy in Sanford. I actually live in New Hill but noone has ever heard of it. I'm about 10 minutes closer to Sanford from Apex. I'm right off of US 1 and live right down the street from the Harris Lake Nuke plant. Lots of nice backroads and twisties out here and can also take the back way and head into downtown from where I'm at. If you want to go riding sometime let me know. I usually do some backroads between me and Sanford around the Moncure area which sounds like it would be halfway for us. I'm actually doing a ride with a meetup group to Raven Rock tomorrow. Sunday is supposed to be a nice day so may do some riding that day also but will probably be alone that day.

selling the buell if I can get what I want for it so I don't take such a huge loss. I'd like to store it but probably going to be there for 2-3 years and really don't want it to sit around and have to worry about coming back to a mouse chewed up bike or any other problems with it since it will have to be stored in my in-laws garage. Plus I'm trying to get all the cash I can so my wife and I can get a car. We are selling just about everything we don't really need so that we have no bills what so ever and make it simple when we get there. Then we will get another bike when we return to the states. Also selling the stock stuff I took off the bike with the bike as well as workstands and what not.
