Hey everyone!

Didn't think i'd be posting this so soon because I bought a low mileage example but nonetheless here we are lol. On my maiden ride with my 1125R, I got about 15-20 miles from home until the bike started losing power on me and shutting off. First time it did it it fired back up, the second time it did NOT, which I found out was due to me running out of gas like an idiot, turns out the gas light doesn't work. I put about 1.5 gallons in it to get to my destination ~15 miles away, and right as I was pulling in the bike stalled again. Oddly it fired back up and I was able to pull it into the shop I was dropping it off at to get new tires put on. Now, the gentleman changing my tires is saying the bike won't fire back up, even after he added half a gallon to it. What i'm wondering, is there a minimum amount of gas in the tank the bike needs over empty to fire up again? I also do have a few CELs: U0001(comm error), P0629 (fuel pump system error), P0087 (fuel pressure system error), P0193(fuel pressure system error), P0506(IAC sys error), P0507(IAC sys error), P0131+P0151(Front+rear o2 error), P0562(system voltage). I think the voltage is because I killed the battery trying to crank it over on the side of the road with no gas. o2 errors and comm error I believe are from the previous owner, as the bike used to have an exhaust on it and I assume the cluster was unplugged at some point to wire up the god awful mirrors the PO put on it. IAC error i'm unsure about, maybe relearn needed+IAC cleaning? Fuel errors are my main worry, is it possible I could have those errors from running the bike totally out of gas? Any input/advice is appreciated. Have my buelltooth and phone setup finally so i'm gonna scan it after I pick it up from the shop with a uhaul+try putting some gas in it.

Sir: As these XB and 1125 models continue to age I'm seeing fuel pump failures at alarming rates. Your fault codes and symptoms clearly seem to indicate a failing fuel pump and total loss of sufficient operating pressure. When the bike was run out of fuel in all likelihood the pump motor picked up frame/tank dirt and residue lying at bottom of frame clogging the sock filter...pump motor...inline filter. I would remove the pump and fully service it. I do not stock any 1125 pump rebuild kits but see them available online.

That's what it's sounding like from pretty much everyone i've spoken with - gonna plan on sending it out for a rebuild with aagaard moto so the level sensor can also be fixed. Still going to try to fill it with gas and see if it'll run + if the codes come back, but i'm not getting my hopes up too too much
