Gear indicator mods with pix

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Hey so I did this exact mod and it came out great! Only issue im having is programming it. I can get first and second gear on the road but not 3-5..... Anyone care to share how they programmed theres? Thanks!

I think this mod would be cool if instead of a gear indicator you could put in an external air temp or even a compass. I could use those a little more I think. Anyone have any ideas?

I usually have my time on my dash. But since i could have the time and temp and volts on that, i could have my trip meter on the dash so I can monitor mileage as well

Ok I'll play with the Zombie thread:)

How long does it take for the gear indicator to read what gear it's in? A couple seconds or so?

What does it do when you pull in the clutch? Does it hold the gear number or show a false "N"?

Necromancy!!!

But seriously, I would love to do this on my Buell this winter and would like to ask from original poster or someone who has this made... how does it work in long run? And how do you program it... AND if possible does anyone have any images of connected harness wires?

Did find different way to do this, I do like the fact how that this will be totally hidden, no wires running enywhere. But does it work =) Has anybody tried this?

And ????????????? Any news.

If you are referring to my post about Garrcanos installment, he does not reply to pm's or to original post. So I quess I will try this, but It will be late winter when this will happen.
I have come to conclusion that I truely wont need this, but then again. I think it looks quite nice when you have voltage meter and gear indicator. So I will do it cause I can.
