Thought I'd share some Road America Pics. Sorry too many distractions and my digital camera sucks at taking pictures when the objects are moving @ 180mph!
The bike will cost you $50K, the umbrella girl I can't say for sure but $50K would help, of that I'm sure.....
The Hero crew and Erik Buell are super humble. I got a chance to meet Erik and Danny at the moto gp laguna seca.If any of you get a chance to go to a race you will have a great time
Danny got another podium this weekend. Officially finished 3rd. But crossed the line in 2nd - he was asessed a 5sec penatly for crossing over a line they had marked on the track at the exit of a corner.
Geoff was in a strong 4th position and had a mechanical. I think he broke his shifter.
The 2012 AMA American Superbike series is heading towards completion with just one weekend of racing remaining on the schedule. Entering last weekend, the AMSOIL/HERO/EBR team of Geoff May and Danny Eslick had notched a combined two podiums, but also a dozen top ten finishes on the year. With two races scheduled at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the Team AMSOIL duo picked up the pace of their EBR 1190RS' a notch.
Eslick has had an up-and-down rookie year in American Superbike, but the Oklahoman showed speed and poise in Miami. In a remarkable battle for second with Blake Young, Eslick traded spots countless times with one of the sports best riders. In the end, Eslick's aggressive tactics won out over Young, edging ahead at the checkered flag by 0.089 seconds.
"There was one lap where we probably went back and forth five, six, or seven times," Eslick said of the dogfight. "It was a good race. It was clean, and it was just good, hard racing. Me and Blake have raced each other for a lot of years and raced each other hard. There's no love lost while we were out there; we were definitely going for it out there. It was pretty awesome."
As Eslick and Young battled for second, May climbed back into podium contention. When checkered flag came out, the Georgian finished in fourth, just 0.252 seconds behind Young in fourth.
I'm a little slow so somebody fill me in. Is Danny not riding for EBR this year? No shirts with him at EBR Racewear and no mention of him this weekend at testing at Homestead.
Just curious, thought he was an asset to the team, can't believe he is not back for 2013.

Geoff was at the CCS Races here in Miami this weekend. Danny was a no-show but they had Cory West riding one of the other 1190's (they pit crew would not confirm if Cory would be riding for EBR next year but when interviewed, he eluded to the possibility). They both dominated in all their races. Actually had Geoff lap me in one of the races (going into T8 at HMS). Really humbling but cool to see him from behind backing it into the corner.
Tired now but have a pic with him I'll post up later.
