I might get some flak for this but I love the way harleys sound. Nice, deep, and kinda loud.

Is this possible to get from a buell?

or is just the nature of a buell tuned engine? I'm guessing cam's mainly.

I took the packing out of the nose of the stock muffler and I have the volume I want but Now it's "tinny" or "nasal-ey"

any help on if this is possible. or what gives mufflers that nice deep sound would be bliss.

I would go to with the Special Ops. You can YouTube some videos to hear the quality. :D

For the sound and the price AND no repacking necessary you can't beat the Hawk.

hawk or d&d are loud (as far as decibal range), jardines are throaty too for xb'z

1125 wise they are even louder

small diameter pipes that arent merged into one, if you notice all harleys with 2 into 1 pipes sound different, and compared to harleys all buell the buell mufflers have a huge body

how does the d&d sound compare to jardine? Just as throaty? Anyone ever heard both in life and not just on YouTube?

When my bike idles in the garage with the jardine, I shake all the paintings and mirrors on the walls in the house.

when i want mine to sound like a harley i just hit the kill switch.

most harleys i see are broken down or sitting at a bar or coffee shop somewhere ;) do they actually make noise?

imo d&d is loudest; sold my last one but will end up with another

jardine is no mistake, throaty and deep and sounds great

My hawk sounded great, best of both worlds, VTwin sound but distinctly different. Like an HD but way cooler in my opinion.
