Getting False Nuetrals!!!!

My issue is about half the time on my downshifts im getting false nuetrals from 2nd to 1st gear. I shift down and it pops into nuetral and wont let me go down to first till im completely stopped basically. Any ideas why this would be happening?

It might be something to do with your clutch? It might not be engaging properly of the linkage might be out of whack? I'm no expert on this stuff but it might be a good place to start? Best of luck to you and your Buell.

Check your primary chain adjustment!

There's 2 clutch adjustments - might as well do both of them while you're wrenching on it. (Detailed instructions are in the Service manuals, available from this site if you don't have them already) :
