How often to you ride around doing 110? I can only break 100 about 2% of my riding. From 0-100 the 1125 is perfectly fast for me. I can keep up with pretty much everyone I ride with in that range. Even if they are faster then me I'm probably having the most fun and enjoying the sound and looks my bike gets the most.

"Im glad you caught it........"

Jesse doesn't miss a G/D thing... As a matter of fact, I have it on good authority that Jesse can just touch anyone's post on his computer screen and tell if their gas cap is on backwards:p

Lol! I have a problem.:D

I got passed by a Kawasaki Concours 14 on the interstate when I was coming back from Indy GP races. Actually it was more like a near collision. I had just passed a car and was about to vere over back in to the other lane when he came flying up behind me on my right side and passed me. I nailed it and was gaining on him when I realised my tent was bungeed to my back seat and it was wobbling around pretty good. Hes lucky I had a tent passenger....:D

Just sayin'.....

If a speedy steed is your primary need,
then the Buell may not be for you.
But, I'll always take pride, in the machine that I ride
'cause it's made in the Red, White and Blue.
:D

Actually somewhere on here there is a pic of where all the parts for buells are made. And if you consider a bike with only 10% of the the parts being made here American then sure................. It's American assembled.

Cracking up on this one......lmao

..........."damn this bike's got a drag chute and it's trying to deploy"

to make a long story short the limited edition red/white R1 is a very nice bike that's all you guys are a bunch of meanies.

I work at a yamaha dealership, and while the R1 is a sweet bike with loads of power, I still love my buell. I personally am looking at replacing my xb12r with a 1125r once its back up and running so I can hang with the liter bikes on the straights and still absolutely demolish them in teh corner. Plus, having a v-twin in a sportbike is nothing short of amazing....

Tyler,

Don't listen to all the haters here. Secretly, they're all a bit jealous. Riding a Buell is something many of us are a little ashamed of. Deep down inside, I actually hate BOTH my Buells. I'm sure everyone here feels the same. In fact, if you really want to fulfill that need for speed, get an R1 and slap a turbo on it! Don't settle for the R1's stock 152HP, upgrade it! Bore it out, turbo it, do whatever it takes to get past 200HP and then show all the other bikes (especially lame Buells) that you have balls! 100mph in first gear, dude! No Buell can touch that! Roll on wheelies at 100mph! No Buell can touch that!

So to all the Buell lovers here, you're all just closet homos who don't know how to ride. To Tyler, get that R1 so you'll enjoy blasting by slower bikes that top out at 110mph. Not only will you be able to fly by Buells like they're standing still, but you'll also have girls lining up to drop their panties for you. All I ask is please, PLEASE, get a GoPro and post your spectacular crash on YouTube. Please don't deny us of that footage.
