Hope i dont have any problems and they will fix any issues i have by the time i get to put it on.

Update: got the new bar clamp in the mail today from Randy! Quick turnaround from GPR [up]

I'll get put it on later to verify fit!

Sorry jcrosby. That sucks. Puzzled emailed them on the Order to see if all had shipped. Might shoot him a pm. I didn't see the reply from GPR.

Got my bar clamp on today. Still had some rubbing but made a couple of adjustments and I think it's set correctly now. I haven't ridden with it yet, had too much work around the house to do.

Hope yours delivers here in the next couple days. [up]

damn....thats 2 group buys I've missed this week.

put me down for the next one.

As of right now I don't have any intentions of putting another group buy together. GPR really dropped the proverbial ball on this one. While I'm not GPR, their actions don't reflect well on me. I do realize that things happen and can respect that however I just can't get answers from GPR. Maybe we caught them at a bad time and if so I should have been told so. If I can get some sort of believable explanation I'll look into resuming the group buys with the new pricing.

From Randy
sorry mike we are going as fast as we can. we have had a little trouble with the machine that makes the post for that bike and we had to re make the jig to hold the parts to transfer it to another machine. i just got in the office today i have been out on fri and mon i will have a answer at the end of the production day.

Loki can you through up a link to Scotts I can't seam to find it. Looking for one for a 1125r

Im pretty sure if we could get a group buy that they would make one for us. I think our bikes are pretty simple to make one for.

You would be asking a company to make a product for a bike that is no longer made, not likely to happen IMO.

It is better to let GPR sort their issues out and support a company that has supported Buell all along. Granted this time around was not very smooth however the several dozen I previuosly purchased went off without any issues. Just sayin'..... ;)

It is always good to have options.....

I ran Scotts on my GSXR.

If we see a EBR bike for the common person then we stand a good chance of getting companies to consider making us parts.

Anyone have any clearence issues, if so, what adjustments did you make?
i brought up the same clearance issues as u guys did... i filed down the bar clamp until the clearance issues were remedied. Still not happy with the way the stabilizer seems to want to stick @ center... makes it a lil funky @ low speeds. i Removed and reinstalled the stabilizer 4 times filing the clamp down each time think i'd removed enuff material each time and finding another small rub spot. damn near $400 is alot to spend on a part i gotta tinker with to make work.

Me On Feb. 5 2012

Alright i finally got around to puttin my stabilizer on. Heres the story... I ordered the Lightning set up for my ULy. I received the kit for the 1125CR. No fault of Mikes... and he helped me out with getting ahold of GPR to get the correct parts. We determined that only the brackets were diffferent not the actual unit so i shipped the CRs to San Diego and received the Lighting set a few days later. Finally when i went to installing it i realized that the "GPR" logo is upside down on the CR as compaired to the XB. Not a huge deal i guess. So i got the bar clamp on no trouble... then installed the unit on the clamp and there was not enuff clearance for the arm to move in the well it fits in on the clamp. So i had to run to work and grab a few assorted files and take prolly 1/16 of material off the clamp and then it rotated freely. So in conclusion... this whole install was a bit more of a trial than i had hoped. I'm not in ne way unhappy w/Mike"Puzzled" he was very helpful. I am however a little miffed @ GPR. I really shouldnt have had to do ne filing on the clamp and they should've known the LOGO would face the wrong way on my XB. Hopefully i will be mored pleased with the operation of the product than the install and getting the parts.

My clearance is so close where the arm extends and bends I'm a little concerned that it may hit the clamp vibrating into a turn. I may file mine down a little as well just to be on the safe side. As it sits, there is literally a millimeter of clearance. In a hard turn or rough spot in the road may cause a vibration up the bike causing it to hit.

It's definitely a peculiar design. Regardless, I'm glad to have it.
