I think it looks nice.

I don't think anyone riding behind or on the side of you will stop and notice the slight lifted plate and say, "oh no, I don't like how the plate sits on the bracket, damn screws" lol.

Yeah once they are mounted I dont even notice the bends.

He did them(axlew sliders) just for me one time deal. Wont even make me a set for my GF, Buellchick.

Also here is a side by side from either side. I like how it looks I may just have to swap it over to that side for good. I like how it hides the caliper, and leaves the belt open.

xtremelow can we see some pics of Buellchick's tag mount? Also what kind of sliders do you have on hers?

Also the bike looks totally nice with the tag mount matches excellent.

All Buellchick has for axle sliders is a set of skate board wheels bolted to a threaded rod through the ceneter of the axle.

$14 is all hers cost.

As far as pics of hers it is done the same as mine, just different sliders.

Those brackets are awesome.. Illegal in minnesota a buddy of mine just bought one for his harley (300 bucks) they passed the law about a week later and he got at ticket

that sucks what ever happened to grandfather laws where if you had it on before the time of the law it was still legal

That would only apply if it came stock from the factory that way not an aftermarket piece.

@Extreme...has there been any problem with the mount rotating on the axle slider if they get loose at all? Falling down, I guess you could say.

wow i just noticed the sappy matching plates you and buell chick are rockin. that is sickeningly sweet lol.[up][up]

I was wondering the same thing as 03firebolt9R. Its a heavy SOB so i guess you would need to use some apoxy or something else on it to keep it from rotating towards the ground with vibration and bumps over time?

I know this is old but I just got this bracket....and dam is it heavy! I'm going to drill a bunch of holes in it to lighten it up a bit. So how well did it work out for you? Does it stay in place or does it fall down?

It tends to twist down so you will definitely want to mount up something to keep it from doing so. Otherwise it is all good.

I actually have the one BuellChick had on her bike sitting in the garage as we decided to mount our undertail mounts after we did our tail lifts.

Not to say anything bad about your bike xtreem i have lots of respect for you, but the bolts under the plate make it lumpy and its kind of a sloppy design. here is another one I found, i just orderd it yesterday.

I agree a volt would look bulky but I used a stud not a bolt.

But shortly after I mounted mine up someone stole it so I only had nine for like 2 weeks. BC had hers on for a couple months and never used a bolt of any type as she had skateboard wheels for sliders at the tine which gave enough friction to stop any slipping of the mount.

But after a while we both agreed that under the tail just looked better so we web back to that.
