welcome to the forum and please do keep us updated as to weather they work or now since they are a really good price.

take pics of the mod you had to do to make them fit pls :) i wanna know if the filed down part is gonna be too ghetto for my uppity TT lol

I just completed this mod as well. Way cheaper than buell black levers. Haven't gotten to try them yet because of the weather here in NY. They look good and feel the same as stock. I didn't really have to grind anything down.

cool, xlr8n_xb.

Just make sure it's not engaging the brakes with the lever all the way out like mine was.

Supposed to be coming next week sometime i think, cronus, thanks for that i'll make sure it's not!

If it's the part to grind down i think it is i'll make a little template up and upload the shape so it can be marked out easily for anyone else that wants to do the mod.

I've not been this excited since i got my exhaust before christmas....:D

I believe it, I'm excited for you. I'd like to get them but even 55 bucks to spend on something I don't need right now, is a little tuff to let go of.

cronus: I found out what you meant about the brake being engaged. My wheel locked up while I was stopped at a red light luckily. So I took the lever off and rode home 5 miles with no front brakes. thank god for the brembo caliper and master cylinder mod this winter. So I have to grind some more off. Can you pull your lever quick and take a pic of what you did? Just wanna know if I did the same thing.

My friend got a pair of these on his r6. They aren't the same quality as CRG/ASV, etc. but they are 1/4 of the price.

The adjustment switch wasn't as smooth, but how often are you going to adjust it. Other wise, they we pretty solid and seemed worth it. Much better than stock

I know this is XB thread but a lot of the Kawasaki levers fit the 1125, according to the ASV sheets.

I've not forgotten to write up on the post, they only arrived the other day.

The quality of them is pretty good, the only negatives really are that there are no bushes in the pivot points etc so eventually they will wear and the lever will require replacing, however they were only £35 delivered!

i have got them on now and look good, clutch is straight swap as people say, i had to slacken the clutch cable slightly as i think the position in the lever must be slightly different.

The brake is actually quite a bit of work, the majority of material needs to be removed from the flat plates that on the lever that act as the lever stop and bit that moves the brake switch.

I also altered the part on the lever that pushes the master cylinder piston in, unfortunately i altered it a bit much and as a result the lever is now on its widest span setting and is about right for me.

This was my cock up but it hasn't affected the use of the lever or anything. I think you probably only really need to take metal off the brake switch / lever stop part. if i do it again i'll know for next time!

i'll try to get a pic of my brake lever up tonight. TRY being the key word as my computer is dead and the loner computer i've got is pretty quirky. if nothing else i'll just upoad a pic from my phone and you guys can just deal with the so-so quality :p

this is what it looks like after being ground down. I used a bench grinder so it's not perfect looking, but once it's on the bike you can't even see it, so i wasn't worried about it not being pretty.

The only reason the part that pushes in the master cylinder is ground down is because i just filed off the powder coating on that spot. Not a real high quality part and i didn't want the powder coating to start peeling right there, so i just filed it off.

Thanks cronus. I will be playing with my lever to try and get it to work correctly this weekend. I put the stock one back on for now.
