hard to start

Just upgraded to an 1125 cr sometimes when I go to crank it it doesn't want to turn over it acts like there is to much compression for the starter when it happened to me last night the battery had 12.7 volts any suggestions on what it could be? Any help is appreciated

Check your grounds. My xb12 was doing this and the ground to the frame had a rusty star washer between the ground cable and frame.

its a sure sign the stator and regulator are on there way out my done the same and eventually didnt start there is a fix for this but not by buell the thing is to have the stator rewound and upgrade the regulator you will find many posts on this hope yah get sorted,the dealer will fix it if under warrenty but its only temporary and will do the same thing again,its a design fault.
