I wish there would have been sub publisity about Harley killing Buell. If we could have got it on CNN or some other national news starting with the a buell vid of it being an underdog and being built by an american dream it might of had a diff out com.

Pretty soon there will be a mcdonalds and a taco bell inside Hardly D's[down][down]

obviously there's a great deal of concern these days for this country&where it's all going.
And while its easy to ALWAYS blame the current administration,we have to all realize this is a system&a parigdime that has been in motion since the military industial complex was injected into capitalism. The ball was thrown a long time ago&this is where it's gonna land if something doesn't change,& I doubt one man can do that..
I try to vote with my dollar,seems to be the only one that counts now.
I was always rather indifferent to HD,but they really lost me when they flushed eric&his(OUR) bikes. I got nothing against others owning,riding,&loving them.
I still think buells are the best&will spend all my money&time playing with mine.
I also appreciate all those foreign bikes too,shit,I've owned alot of those!
But I'm saving for Buell#3...

I agree with you on all of that Bolt. Right now a lot of Americans are balancing their "hope on a tight rope" and that so called "change is looking kinda strange" to a lot of us  right now. This storm will get a lot worse for us before it gets better. I was never naive enough to believe that it would miraculously going to get better for us overnight, and a lot of people need to realize that too. It didn't take us one night to get in this mess, so it will take more than 1-2 terms to fix this whole pile of $h!t that we are all swimming in together.

Hey guys I just re-read my posts and some of the others. This thread is getting too polictical, so let's get it back on track with the initial post topic. Now everybody take a deep breath and give HD a big fat booooooooooooo!!!!!! on their decision of Buells future. Well I'm gonna post again after this one to start it off fresh again.

Buells are the best all around bike to me. I've always wanted one and finally got one recently. This is the first bike produced that I feel was really and truely made for every type of rider. These bikes really evoke a lot of emotion and passion within the rider. That's why when HD gave Buell the axe, people were buying them faster than $2 hookers on pay day. A lot of folks would call buying a Buell at that time a bad investment, since HD will stop parts production in 7 years. I feel the exact opposite because I love my 09' SCG, it's like part of my family. When I get a new part or do a mod, we (my family and I) go into the garage together to view it's performance and enhancement qualities on the bike. My son goes nuts about the bike. Every chance he gets to hop on it or help me do a mod it makes his day. In a sense, my Buell helps bring my family together and allows us to spend a few quality moments together. I will continue to invest money into my Buell because it brings joy to me and those around me who see it. Don't tell my wife, but girls love the bike because it's different, clean, and just plain sexy. Our Buells turn heads and make people Who don't know what they are ask a ton of questions. In my opinion Harley did not market the Buell line properly or allow Erik and his great team of professionals the chance to really work their magic and operate to their full potential. It kinda seemed like big brother (HD) never wanted little brother (Buell) to thrive as much or become bigger than HD name. Right now Harley could really use a great sub-company like Buell to help it out financially, but they already burned that bridge. Go to your HD dealer and look at how many bikes they are selling. You'll see the same inventory of chrome and leather as you did the last time you walked in. They have only recently made some profit because of all of the Buells that were sold since HD's announcement. Karma is kicking HD's A$$.

Now that my girl has an scg,riding is something that's become way more a part of our life together,riding buells is what makes it special for me!
I guess now HD IS dead to me too.I'm getting over the anger,it's mostly becouse now they have nothing to offer anymore...

I am very product loyal and was always proud to be a Harley owner because of the AMERICAN product thing that comes with it. Then I was handed a BOMB by another of my very respected Harley buddies. That harley we all think is American has forks on it made by Kawasaki!! And a host of other parts made by Japanese manufacturers. Sorry to burst your bubble! If you think its not true, do the research. It won't make you happy[confused]

Yeah you really have to scrutinize that made in the USA claim nowadays. It's funny, cause alot of companys are using inferior materials that are produced in China to make American products and slap that Made in the USA sticker on their product. It's hard to find a product thats totally made and produced solely in the US by American workers too. l say hey take as much as you can get if the best quality made product out there is made with let's say only 90% American made products, but the other product to choose from is 100% American made and sucks then go with the less American one.
