After doing my dual headlight mod on my SS I believe I messed up the male side of the harness. It's acting like there is a short in it I have to wiggle the wires around to get the lights to stay on. The wires themselves are not bad or really damaged so I think it's the harness? Is there a part number to the harness and where could I get a new one? Don't want the lights going out on a night ride I think that will end really badly!!

Is the connection problem at a connector? Or is it in a section of the harness. You should be able to repair either one without purchasing a whole harness.

I think it's at the connector I want to replace the plastic connector to see if that solves my problem.

I believe there is a special crimper for them. I plan on soldering the wires inside of the pins.

all good suggestions and also consider radio shack if you have one locally. you should have orange/yellow/white/black 12 gauge wire set. shack has hell of a selection of male/female connectors and matched pins on the cheap. you'll need a 4-wire setup.
