Just purchase a new Buell 1125R with less than 500 miles on it.. So I decided to jump on the opportunity and get it for a cheap price. Its an all white w blue accent, pretty cool bike.

A few things that I would like to get modded is the exhaust thinking about going with Hawkins Mods, also, get a newer air filter and change that horrible looking license plate holder to a fendor elimininator. Since I already own a Harley Davidson Street Glide, this bike will be my fun bike and my Harley will be my touring cruising bike.. Love to habe best of both worlds!

Anyway, hello from Chicago, Illinois~ Any others suggestions would be highly appreciated! Thanks~

Welcome to the Buell family, and to the cool kid's 1125 series table! Exhaust, ECM, and K&N drop-in is all you need. If price is a problem, Hawk exhaust- great look, sound, and price. If price is not a problem, Keda-Design RT Series exhaust with a matching Erik Buell Racing ECM.

Oh, and pics or you drive an ice-cream truck!

Welcome to our community! I hope you enjoy your stay. I think you've found the best Buell forum on the Internet.

If you'd like something a little more custom than a drop-in ECM, which is only really a blind shot at what your bike truly needs, come check out my website: The Tuniversity. I can help you with a fully custom tune, or give you a killer webinar on how to tune your bike using datalogs and stock sensors. It's certainly better than a "race" ECM, and I really believe it to be better than a dyno tune.

Enjoy your bike and ride safe!

Welcome to the forum. White 1125R is quite rare. Where are you located in Chicago? I'm on the NW side.

Welcome to the board. I think you'll find this to be a great place, with a lot of good information.

And a few characters. :D

Welcome chgo! Greetings from Indy! Lots of great folks on here, and as others have said, welcome to the addiction!

Welcome from Texas!

Hawkins is a good exhaust and he's a standup guy to deal with as well. He'll fix you and help you with anything you need. Having said that, I run a Keda-RT2 exhaust and love it! Very unique sound. Sounds like a helicopter at idle; very cool. Dean is a scholar and a gentleman as well and he has 4 diff pipes to best fir your style, all hand made by himself.

You'll def want a tune with any exhaust you get. You can spend the $300 on an EBR race ECM or theoctopus can fix you up.

Enjoy the ride!

we beleive you drive a white n blue Honda civic.

I dont even give them that at first. More like the pink plastic tricycle with tassels.
