Helmet help

My bike is almost ready to ride and I need a new helmet. I plan to ride to work a lot but I go to work around 5am and even in my truck with the defrost full blast sometimes the windshield still fogs up. Is there a such thing as an "anti fog" helmet? I rode my bike to work a couple times and I was basically using my left hand as a windshield wiper which obviously is not the safest way to ride daily...

Any ideas? Of course, I'm also very tight on $$$

I use rain-x on my shield and leave it open about a 1/4" to allow air flow around the shield.

Or use a mask or scarf over your mouth and nose, a lot of fogging comes about when warm breath meets cold/wet visor! but i leave a gap like mrlogix!

It looks like that and it is impossible to make it fog up. Just pop it in and don't worry about it. However it's not available for every helmet.

X2 on the Pinlock. I must have sweaty breath, it's only thing that works for me. Rain-X and even wax on your visor work great for rain too:up:

They even make one for the huge face shield on my NEXX.

Thanks for the tips! I'll look into that visor. I did try cracking the shield and it still fogged up bad.
