I know this sounds stupid...but, I got this helmet from a buddy for my 13 year old daughter. She was told if she holds all a's for the year she can go on a ride. Looks like she's gonna make it, so it's time to start gearing her up. It's an agv spectre r1...if it's junk I'll toss it and get her a better one. I want her to be safe so please start giving opinions. Thanks

@ hdstn, I was looking at those Revolvers cuz they look cool but I couldnt bring myself to get a modular. So, I got a Star instead. It is an amazing helmet.

Hdstn, I was looking at the revolver, good prices and of the same styling as the bell star. I decided to hold off because of the lack of the chin curtain. After you try it out, can you drop us a few lines on what the noise is like inside?

I love the way it looks...too bad I gotta wait since they didn't actually HAVE them yet?!!?[mad] Long story, lotta bitching, cancelled order and went elsewhere.

@J_Undisputed...I read that on the webbike review as well. I'm interested as well to see how that plays but a normal curtain would interfere with popping the front open as the button is in the middle of the chin bar at the bottom.

@03Firebolt9R...I felt the same but it has too much that I like and wicked styling not too but that star is pretty slick, nice lid[up]

yes i know it says HD on it but i got it at half price for $205 from the dealer (i think the guy ****** up because the tag said $475)
but its pretty much the HJC FS-15 Carbon

just with HD decals and even the HJC retails for $330-$350 so its worth it.

I wish I could fit in some of these cooler helmets. I have a HJC CL-16 in flat black. It was the only helmet my local shop sold in a XXXL. I knew I had a big melon but I did not think it was that bad. Anyone else with a big head find helmets that fit well?
