Italian made Airoh TR1 with General Lee painting.

It was high glossy, but i sandpapered it and put on some matte black.

Now it looks taken from a ditch

This is mine my wife bought it for me for chistmas last year. It is the first helmet I have ever had that was not plain black.

That's my first and for the moment my only, do need a lighter one though for short rides.

For those who were curious, ECE is Europes DOT and they are a goverment sanctioned entity. The EPS is softest on the DOT and hardest on ECE which means upon impact the ECE has less "give" inside the helmet. BUT with that being said, ECE studied HUNDREDS of accidents over the course of 8 years or so and tested their helmets according to real world crash scenarios so, in that right, its the safest helmet. DOT is great as well, even though its considered to be terrible but in a 3 way study of helmets DOT actually came out as being extremely safe. Snell is alright, but they test their helmets on "one in a million" scenarios. You know...just in case you are going 180 mph and slide head first into a stationary "round" concrete pillar lol.

Anyways, no matter how fast your are going its the height of the fall that is the most important i.e. a fall from 4 feet at 100 mph is the same as 10 mph. From that point, its what you slide into or how many times you bounce up of the concrete. ANYWAYS I digress.... From all the helmet study I have done, even though I have an Icon and it saved my life once, for the money the AFX Dark Angel helmet is quite possibly the safest and best looking helmet (not to mention cheap)on the market.

sevenzeroseven deadly sins right? nice. At least it saved your life, that sames something about cyclegear brand. I got my wife the bad betty one a year ago.

redliner172, I bought the Bad betty for my ex-gf, she really liked it. I bought the &-sins helmet from cyclegear on sale. I had another 707 helmet and really liked it, another reason I got it was because if I wrecked I would either die with my sins or i would get to live with them all again. I was going to get it tattoed on my leg and I believe now I will. Funny thing is, the leg I was going to have it tattoed on is the leg that was messed up in the wreck.

Hi 303xb

it's the Caberg Sintesi (107) it's a full face and Flip up that's why i love it.
Not sure what the retail price for you though. I purchased it from a friend of mine who works at one of the shops with the Bluetooth system for about the equivalent of maybe 220 USD. (I live in Dubai so i'm not sure what the retail price for the helmet in the US)

have a look at the link.

Can somebody tell me what model helmet this is? It looks like an HJC FS-15 (http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1/38/16852/ITEM/HJC-FS-15-Solid-Helmet.aspx) but I want to be sure since the area under the visor release is different. Heh if I'm going to be drawing on it with a sharpie I want to make sure I can wash it off afterward. I'm guessing it's the matte white color that I'll be going for?
