Well with tax returns coming soon it's time to upgrade, I bought this to get me through last season but with the horrid wind noise it is time for it to go.
Main reason I bought it was price, and the ability to have a colored tinted windscreen.

So... with a budget of around 150-225 MAX what's a nice lid in white or blue, You know it's gotta match the bike....

Currently looking at the icon airframes or scorpions.

xl_cheese over at pink gorilla cycles (sponsor on the side bar) has some pretty good deals on scorpion helmets. also get a buellxb discount[up] check it out.

something with lots of periphial vision is way to go imo; leaves you with a lot of room on both sides to view traffic really easy in addition to mirrors. lets you glance a lot faster too

Or you could check out sportbiketrackgear.com I haven't bought anything from Pinkgorilla but I'm pretty sure it's a good company if they're advertising on here. But I have bought from sportbiketrackgear.com and the have great customer service and fantastic shipping time and a great return policy with cheap prices on a lot of helmets.

I like the exo-500 over the is-16. Has better ventilation and the air pump cheek pads really work well.

Another good option are the Bell vortex helmets. Use coupon code 'BELLXB' for a larger discount!

Add the photochromatic shield for the best tinted visor system.
