Anyone running a Suomy? I really like the extreme dragon, I have a half sleeve Japanese dragon on my right upper arm and it matches quit well. But I have actually heard they are really good high-end helmets. Any opinions?

I havent been on a ride with it yet . It got cold here and I had the bike apart the last critical few weeks above 50* when the Helmet finally arrived, so no riding impressions on it yet, but it fits great, the fit and finish is fantatsic and is extremely comfortable so far. Looking at it, it deffinetly looks like a high end helmet!

If you dont mind me askin how much did you pay for it??

Suggested Retail is $459.99. I got it off eBay for $180 plus shipping. They sent me the wrong size, but made good by exchanging and shipping me the correct size and a free smoked visor.

My previous helmet which I still have is a SHOEI, this HJC is way better, though the SHOEI is nearing a decade old.

Probably one of the best bang for the buck helmets are the new HJC RPS-10 helmets. Their new top of the line model.

I can get them to you guys for 260 shipped in the US... PM me if interested. I can also give you guys great deals on Shoei, Shark, Scorpion, Nolan, and Sparx.

This will be my next helmet, in matte black (couldn't find a bigger pic of the matte...).

ive had a few different types. AGV, HJC, KBC (crap), shoei... but my last two have been arai vectors. they are my personal favorite. nice comfort setting and suit my head well. quieter than the others to date. i feel they fit me the best.

my lady has the shoei x1. she tried a arai at my request last time she was changing, and although it felt nicer inside she felt the shoei fit her head better. so there ya go.

and agreed. i have walked around for 30mins in a shop trying a helmet to find if it may give me a headache or not. usually can tell by then by the marks etc it leaves on your head. too tight etc.

now i can just order hte aria and be sweet.

I think that is sweet however when i was reading forums i came across a bigger question that would make it even cooler....would we be allowed to take the mirrors off of our bike?....to be honest i think the mirrors are the ugliest part of the bike.

I took the oem mirrors off my bike the same day I got it, put some small oberon bar ends on it...much better looking IMO.

i have small aftermarket bar ends on mine too...but i would like to take them off if i could..:D

i think it would be worth it to see a police officer putting my helmet on his head on the side of the road when he didn't believe that there were mirrors in it...haha! where i live they would pull you over for stupid **** like that too...lol

i know a guy in my area that has a reevu and says it works pretty good. haven't heard him complain about it. you just have to get used to it like anything else

I'm not yet an Arai Dealer. I need to purchase 6 helmets to become one.

Now if 6 of you wanted an Arai, I would do it at cost which would allow me to be a dealer for Arai...
