My home gym is currently full of new parts and modified pieces of my XB to work on during the winter here. Had to get a membership to the gym down the street.

All you needed to add to the YouTube link was the "19ptOv1mGm8", part of the web address not the entire embeded code.[up]

nice looking setup up nitto!!
Buddha is into the MMA fighting an stuff, he has a big ass tract tire he throws around
LOL
Moved into the wilderness aboot 6 weeks ago from Cowichan valley on Vancouver Island where I ran my business V.I.M.M.A BootCamp (Vancouver Island Mixed Martial Arts Bootcamp..Catchy eh?)

I am a strength and conditioning/personal trainer who indeeds has incorporated MMA style training as well as 'CrossFit', BeastSkills and my fitness guru Ross Enamiat RossTraining)
I do utilize big ass tires, sledges, heavy bags, slosh pipes, kegs, chains, ropes etc.. its a wicked assortment of fitness weapons..lol

My wife and I moved up into the interior of BC (the Chilcotin) where we bought a great house and some land..
My newest business adventure is called B.O.A. Fitness and is currently being hand built by an army of one!

It is being built as closely as possible to whats laid out in Folio No. 1, "Training Facilities," Corps of Engineers Drawing Number 28-13-95 and the Department of the Army Field Manual, FM 21-20 Physical Fitness Training with additional input from a couple of friends who are JTF 2.

It will function as both a confidence and conditioning course.
That coupled with the MMA based strength & conditoning/skillset training should make for some fun training sessions for the general public and athletes that I train.

You can check out pics & vids of what I used to do to poor innocent people on either the Facebook group 'V.I.M.M.A. BootCamp' or Youtube
(here are a couple of my fav vids from back on the island)

"train HARD & train SMART!"

I'll stick with free weights, I had enough floor workouts at the academy. I was the # 2 mat position though out of 155 cadets in my class.

free weights have there place for sure but make sure you think outside the box when it comes to training and fitness, our bodies are very adaptive and within a few weeks of doing the same exercises and workouts our bodies know what to expect...

for those who have no access to a fitness facility check out RossTraining dot com for some fantastic fitness ideas no matter where you are or what your budget!
:)

heres another vid (me going thru the paces)

I'm not motivated to do that kinda stuff by myself. If I had some workout/training buddies it might be a different story. Like I said though I'm in the middle of nowhere right now.

I feel ya there nitto, the Chilcotin is aboot 5.5 million acres with a pop of 942, the nearest 'town' (i.e. general store)is Alexis Creek (pop 250ish)which is 40 minutes each direction..
The closet 'city' is Williams Lake (pop 10 0000+) and its a 340 km round trip....
mind you when the snow thaws I do have aboot 450km of highway that is patrolled by 1 RCMP officer..

Thanks Jim, I just do what I do

OP must have a fortune in weights... I bought some dumbbells and they cost about a buck a pound.

I don't have any pics of my gym, but imagine a pull up tower in my living room with a rack of dumbbells (20 lbs to 40 lbs) I've got a big ass projection tv with P90X videos.

I have a bowflex extreme 2 in my living room that I like quite a bit, just wish I could add more resistance than just the extra resistance pack. they claim 300 some lbs but I say BS, I don't think I can squat that kind of weight much less pull it in a seated row.
it has helped me condition my muscles quite a bit but I haven't dropped the weight like I wanted, need to get more cardio and running is out of the question while my knee is still jacked up.
I plan on getting a road bike and a set of rollers or a trainer for it and parking it next to the bowflex.
