I agree with pinball. You might regret selling it later. Sounds like you have a large investment of time and money into it. You'll be disappointed if it was talked away from you for half what you think it was worth. I have a 77 kz1000 sitting in my in-laws basement that I was going to "give away" about 10yrs ago. Now I can have my own "Barn find" bike in a few decades that won't cost anything but will be valuable. It was built up as a drag bike and was dangerous as hell to drive when i was a teenager.
How much do y'all think I could sell my bike for?

THANK GOD YOU ARE SELLING THIS!! Hopefully this means we wont see you back on this forum. You could sell your bike for over 5k if you could prove that it goes 160mph but we all know you are a liar so yeah run it off a cliff and get the insurance money.

Nothing in my book. I would never buy a bike that was intentionally beat on by it's owner just to try and prove a point. Plus you have still yet to prove the bikes capabilities to anyone. I feel for the poor soul that buys that bike thinking it's something it's not.......... Plus all the work to make the 9 a 12 raises some big flags to potential buyers..........most will think it's because you blew the 9 up. <-------_ goes back to the potential mistreatment of the bike.
I've only put 700 miles on the bike and I ride alot with a passenger(don't beat it) then I ride it like I stole it when I'm by myself (what a bikes meant for) my 9 motor did got to ****. Because It had 22000 miles on it that were from racing. It's a sport you race your bike somethings gonna happen, you race a car somethings going to happen.
My opinion is that regardless of mods a bike is only worth what the donor bike was. I would only pay for your bike what I would pay for any other 20,000 mile XB9r. maybe on the high side if you can prove specific internals with receipts and if it was tuned by EBR where is the dyno slip? seems fishy... I wouldn't pay more than $3,000, and without proof of mods I would not touch it at all. Good luck on the sale though.
Ebr doesn't print off dyno sheets I asked and they don't have a printer hooked up to it. And $3000 the motor itself was $1800, everything has a little over 700 miles on it besides the engine and frame. The steering head bearings were also replaced.
